We prioritize flexibility. Your coursework lives in our digital learning system. There are no set log-in times. You work through it on your own schedule, wherever you are.
Practical classes designed with your schedule in mind. Hands-on training happens at our Forestville facility on set days and times, and attendance is required. This is where you develop the skills clients actually pay for.
Cohorts are capped. That is a deliberate constraint, not a marketing line. We prioritize small class sizes so all of our students have a fair opportunity to learn
What we have built so far.
The work, the room, the people.
6Hours required
Maryland now requires six hours of approved CE at renewal.
Under Maryland House Bill 1600, licensed cosmetologists, hairstylists, estheticians, and nail technicians must complete six hours of Board-approved continuing education. MIAA is an approved provider, and our courses run online.
Trained for the clients you will actually have.
Not an elective. The curriculum.
Coily and curly hair, deeper complexions, and the conditions that present differently on them are taught as core content from the first week — not as a weekend add-on after you graduate.
You earn while you learn.
Advanced students take paying clients in our supervised clinic. Those earnings come back to you as educational stipends or credit against your tuition balance.
A license is not a business.
Pricing, booking, retail, client retention, booth rental versus employment, and how to keep your license current. Technical skill pays the bills only if you know how to sell it.
